Legito, the smart document workplace company that deploys document automation to thousands of users, has appointed Charles Drayson as its first Chief Community Officer. Charles has 20 years of document automation experience. He comes to Legito to share how Legito empowers users in industry and the professions, to help them get the best from document automation and document management, to create and manage perfect documents with the least fuss.
Gary Eunson, Chief Sales Officer, stated “I’ve worked with Charles in various guises for many years, and his enthusiasm for all things document automation is both deeply held and infectious. Legito is developing so fast – it’s important to us that we find ways to keep our strong links with customers as we grow, and to share our plans with people who need solutions like ours. Charles is foremost someone who has used this technology, and he understands how organisations can best get all the benefits. That’s what he’s here to share.”
Charles Drayson is a practising lawyer in the UK who has worked for several large law firms and for commercial organisations who are household names. He has won industry awards for deploying document automation. He has authored thousands of pages of document automation templates. Many of those are for critical business-to-business contracts, but he has also worked on projects in fields ranging from real estate to banking.
“Although my career has ostensibly been acting as a lawyer, which means I’ve had more than my share of drafting technical documents, I’ve always enjoyed working on projects to use technology to augment my work. It’s a very satisfying experience to put skill and effort into my work, and then see it multiplied by applying technology. Documents are containers for important information that must be correct, timely and usable. They carry information from where it’s known to where it’s needed – it’s important, and it’s a shame if the task of creating them becomes a chore done badly. The team at Legito have recognised that documents are part of a process, not just the end in themselves.” commented Drayson
Charles’ role with Legito is a part-time role. He continues to be Commercial Director of a software company and also a consultant for a top 100 law firm in the UK – which means his feet remain firmly planted in organisations of the type that Legito serves.
Legito is a global leader in automated document assembly and lifecycle management.
