Task 11 Condition to a Clause

For this task you will relate a Condition to Clause 5.1 which will keep Clause 5.1 in the document only if the Loan Agreement contains the confidentiality Clause (otherwise that Clause would be irrelevant).

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Click the “Edit” button on Clause 5.1

Step 2: Click the Conditions tab and then click “Create Condition”

Step 3: Complete the conditional phrase as follows:

Complete the conditional phrase as follows:

Dropdown No. 01: Choose Clause,
Dropdown No. 02: Choose “Loan Agreement”
Dropdown No. 03: Choose (System Name relevant Clause) – confidentiality”
Dropdown No. 04: Choose is present”

Note that there are three different ways you could have added the Condition above:

    1. Using the Suggestions in the Conditions & Repeats panel;
    2. Using the Suggestions in the Conditions tab in the menu; or
    3. Clicking Create Condition in the Conditions tab and completing the conditional phrase using the dropdowns as described above.
Step 4: Save and Test your Legito Template

Save your Legito Template and test the newly applied Condition. If you Turn Off Article 4 (Confidentiality) (See Task 7) does the section in paragraph 5.1 on contractual penalty disappear? If so, congratulations! You just successfully set up the Condition!
